Over Rudi Verburg
Rudi Verburg studied economics at the Erasmus University Rotterdam and received his PhD (on economics, sociology and the Scottish Enlightenment) from the same institution. He worked as a researcher at various Dutch universities and was assistant professor in the history and philosophy of economic thought at the Erasmus University before joining VU Amsterdam as postdoctoral researcher. He has published books and articles on topics ranging from environmental ethics, values and institutions, social cohesion, solidarity and care, and the history of economic thought. A book on greed, self-interest and economics is scheduled to be published by Routledge in the spring of 2018.
