About

Over the past decade or so I have alternated and sometimes combined administrative positions, mostly at universities, with teaching/research positions. Since I love studying/learning and intellectual challenge, during my doctoral studies I decided to embark on an academic career. However, I gradually came to realise that the current academic system does not allow me to flourish. So I’ve decided to focus on something else that I love doing – being the ‘spider in the web’ of new collaborative initiatives, playing a vital, coordinating role in getting them up and going – as I’ve been able to do for the 3TU.Centre for Ethics and Technology, for the Dutch Research School of Philosophy (OZSW) and most recently for the John Stuart Mill College and its PPE bachelor programme. Such positions allow me to take on a wide range of tasks and responsibilities, from setting up a website to developing policies, from streamlining administrative processes to organizing events. I’m a pro-active, committed problem solver who likes to deliver high-quality work. Currently I am looking around for new opportunities – please don’t hesitate to contact me in case you have a initiative to which I might be able to contribute. Part-time and fixed-term projects are welcome.
