Lei Delsen is Associate Professor of Socio-Economic Policy at the Department of Economics of the Nijmegen School of Management, Radboud University Nijmegen. He joined the department in 1987. He studied Economics at the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Maastricht in 1995. From 1984-1987 he was a research fellow at the European Centre for Work and Society in Maastricht. His current research topics include work-life balance, retirement from work, choices within pension schemes, responsible investment and the relationship between globalisation and the national welfare states. He is research fellow of Netspar (University of Tilburg).
