Economics is a discipline that is in essence concerned with fruitful collaboration between people who are limited in both their rationality and morality. That is the point of departure for a new method for teaching economics to high school students, which prof. Lans Bovenberg is currently developing.

In this talk, which was only partly recorded, Bovenberg applies this relational perspective to the finance sector. It was given at the seminar ‘Reconnecting Finance with Society‘ that took place on 27 January 2017 and was organised by Socires as part of their 2016-2017 programme on ‘Finance and the Common Good’.
