Second, to explore moral components of economic theory and analysis which could be integrated systematically with analytical thought rather than being treated as mere add-ons.
It is the purpose of this 7th Dialogue on Social Market Economy to identify new solutions for a functioning international economic and political order. Globalization has suffered from a lack of international regulations of the global market processes. But such regulations must maintain political and economic freedoms. The goal of this conference is to bring together ethicists, economists, political scientists, international relations scholars, policy experts, and business leaders to comprehensively examine not only the political and economic impact of trade but also how trade can be conducted more ethically.
